Salad Dressing

The biggest problem with home made salad dressing is that the vinegar separates from the oil very quickly. You have to be able to shake it well right before putting it on salad.

That’s why mason jars work the best for holding your homemade salad dressings! Screw the lid on firmly before you shake, then apply them to your salads.

Here’s a really simple balsamic vinaigrette recipe designed to be made in a mason jar.

Mason Jar Balsamic Vinaigrette Recipe

  • ½ Cup of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 Clove of Garlic, minced
  • Pinch of Salt and Pepper
  • ¼ Cup of Balsamic Vinegar

Add it all together in a mason jar and shake like crazy! Make sure to shake well before each use with the lid on.

Try any other vinaigrette recipe in a mason jar – they’ll all work great.
