This is the recipe for my Mocha Frappuccino clone created with nothing but mason jars.
The coffee base I use is the remains from the coffee pot that don’t get drunk. I save all extra coffee in a mason jar in the fridge where it gets used for other recipes, such as chocolate cake or this Frappuccino recipe.
The whipped cream is my small batch mason jar whipped cream which I published yesterday.
Mocha Frappuccino Recipe
You will need:
- 1.5 cups ice
- 1.5 cups cold coffee
- 0.5 cups heavy cream (milk if you prefer)
- 2-3 tb sugar (to taste)
- 1-2 tb chocolate powder
- 1 batch mason jar whipped cream
Pour all the ingredients (except the whipped cream) into a regular-mouth quart mason jar.
Blend on ice crush for 20-30 seconds, then check for desired consistency.
At this point, I like to pour into wide mouth pint jars – or use a regular glass. Top with whipped cream.
Eat with a straw, spoon, or try drinking it right out of the jar!
